Job Posting: Greenpeace looking for English PR writer in Beijing

The English Writer is responsible for writing and editing professional English communications materials, in order to help achieve campaign, fundraising and organizational objectives for Greenpeace China.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To prepare, edit and proofread English communications materials for campaign and fundraising activities, including but not limited to web content, e-newsletter, public publications, donor appeals and English press materials.
2. To ensure that Greenpeace English communications materials are accurate, professional, and adhering to organizational image.
3. To ensure that Greenpeace English communications materials can effectively communicate the right message to the defined target audiences.
4. To help maintain and update English content for Greenpeace China website.
5. To identify global Greenpeace web contents for Greenpeace China's website.
6. To establish and maintain good working relationship with freelance English writers and professional English editors.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Excellent English writing skills and able to read Chinese
2. Working experiences as English writer and/or English editor
3. Good communications sense
4. Dedicated to the organizational mission of Greenpeace
5. Good team work spirit and can work independently
6. Able to work under time pressure
7. Basic web skill preferred
